I have an effect that I assemble, I call it a salute string or "20 gun salute", "50 gun salute" or what ever number of salutes you wish to use. Basically its a long length of quick-match with the salutes tapped into it using "fast fuse" and spaced at around 15" apart and have a length of cotton string also attached to the salute and quick-match so the salute does not fall to the ground. The whole thing must be suspended, I use 6ft long metal agriculture fence posts. It produces a rapid succession of loud reports, like a big machine-gun, sometimes I end it with one large salute made with extra sponge titanium for big spark effect which is taped to the end of a wood broomstick. It's an attention grabber for sure.

Thats why builders wear 100% cotton and have a can of Static Guard near by.😎

Hello to all! Does the club have or are we/can we come up with a "designated" club shoot site with magazine where we can also safely build/assemble pyro and store the pyro for future use. Project participants would need outdoor space to set up tables and cabanas for the building activities. Of course the magazine will have to be managed, meaning that all contents has to be recorded per the ATFE guidelines. At my previous club, members who had built/made something would store the pyro in a closable plastic bin and provide a label of its contents. A "Build & Shoot" could be done, we just need the proper grounds.
